We headed to Oma and Opa's house for delicious Vermicelli dinner made by Oma! Opa drove out to get me some medicine because I had just come down with a cold that Steve had been plagued with the whole week. With our bellies full and fully medicated we headed to bed!
Steve slept fitfully, as usual. I woke up only once and ended up getting 10+ hours of sleep! I woke up feeling SO much better. Oma and Opa fix everything!
Saturday morning we got to see Jordyn, Hans, and Eva!
Jordyn, Mani, and I got to decorating the tree...
Hans joined in once we started putting on the tinsel...
Jordyn had to go around fixing the Hans' sections, since he just plopped as much tinsel as he could find onto the lower branches. :)
Jordyn showed me this year's lovely gingerbread house. I think it's the best it's been in years! Jordyn's colorful pegasus unicorn on one side, Pat's inventive drawbridge, Sandra's German Fussball game, and Mani's sparkly green creature. ;)
We went to have a look at the aquarium... and saw the elusive Speedy Snail!
Heidi Klum peeking out of her cave.
For dinner we headed to House of China.
Leah has mastered 1-handedly feeding herself and Eva at the same time.
Hans took a few pictures with my camera. Not bad! It's fun to see things from his point of view.
I think these are Hans pictures from my lap, but I really need to figure out how to focus my camera one of these days!
We called it a night by playing with the puppies!
And sleepy Leo!
