Christmas Eve and THE BIG DAY!

The only pictures I took on Sunday were of Jordyn and Hans holding Mani's cute leopard gecko. They were both so gentle with her.

Christmas Eve we went to Church and then had Fleisch Salat for dinner.

Oma has these beautifully painted coasters, and I was having a tough time picking my favorite!

These were my top picks, and I think my favorite is the Kingfisher, because it's always been one of my favorite birds.

Christmas Day I had asked Pat to call me when they were up, so I could come hang out. Santa had visited them in Epworth and brought everyone so many great gifts!!

This little dude greeted me when I arrived. He's Hans-size!!

The lovely tree! Jordyn informed me Hans had broken several of the ornaments.

Jordyn was wearing the most comfy pajamas ever, made by her Grandma.

Hans was so overwhelmed!! Each time it was his turn to open a present, he was still playing with one he had just opened.

Hans received a mini-cleaning kit, and quickly went to town scrubbing the house.

We all headed over to Oma and Opa's house, to see if Santa had visited them as well. He had! The present opening is from youngest to eldest, roughly, so Eva went first followed by Leo!

Steve introduced a family tradition to everyone this year, called "Squeeze the Scale." You take an old analog scale, and squeeze it as hard as you can. He had prizes for the male and female top finishers! Mani, Leah, and Sandra were all very close, but Mani emerged victorious! Here she is with the prize...

Pat was the male winner, but I forgot to get a picture of him with his Championship Belt.

Merry Christmas!
