Saturday Night in Alaska

Next on my agenda was a Musk Ox farm! I stopped on the way for more beautiful mountain views.

And failure selfies due to how bright it was outside!

The musk ox farm was, unfortunately, closed for the season. It seems many things in Alaska are only open during the summer months. This was as close as I could get...

Disappointed, I headed to my next destination... A reindeer/caribou farm! They... were also closed! So unfair!!

However, I was able to get pretty close to the cute little guys.

Awwww.....

And I decided that I would not partake of the reindeer sausage that is apparently an Alaska regional food. I got your backs, reindeer bros!

I drove back to Anchorage and felt ready for some food! I headed to a pizzeria called The Moose's Tooth.

I had the Brewhouse Favorite pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The beer was great too, just had a Hefeweizen. What a perfect way to end the day!

That night, there was an Earthquake in Anchorage. That was special. I woke up thinking that King Kong was shaking the building!
