Thanksgiving!

Alex had to work in the morning, but Kelly didn't! The boys stayed home form daycare and we played around the house.

We made a final sojourn to the store to get a few things for the Thanksgiving feast... including balloons!

The next morning was Thanksgiving! We all thought the turkey was thawing in the fridge, but that was the ham! The turkey was still in the freezer! Kelly and I decided to try to quickly defrost it. While we were trying to put it in a bag, I managed to drop the ~ 20 lb frozen turkey directly. on. her. foot.

I can't even imagine how it felt... OUCH

Alex and I retreated to the basement with the boys while Kelly and John determined if her foot was broken or not.

Luckily, it was just badly bruised and we got to eating the feast (sans Turkey) in a few hours.
